Nike is betting big on the world of wearables.
The sports apparel giant has launched its new Beats Music app for iOS and Android, and will also roll out Beats Pay and Beats Pay Classic to the iPhone and Android devices it sells in stores.
Apple’s own Beats Music service has also been made available for iPhone and iPad.
“We’re excited to be launching new products for people who want to spend money on the new Beats music service, including a new iPhone app and new Android phones and tablets,” said Michael Johnson, Nike’s senior vice president of corporate communications.
“This partnership with Apple will allow us to expand our Beats Music experience to the world’s top music consumers and to continue to grow our digital footprint with the Beats Music subscription service.”
When consumers can access the Beats music and app through the Beats Pay app, they’ll be able to listen to music they already own, enjoy a curated selection of music from Beats and music from other brands, including Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
“Nike will also sell Beats headphones and other Beats accessories.
The new Beats app, which will be available to iPhone and iPod touch users in the coming months, will allow users to control the music playback and control how many songs are played.
The Beats app will also offer a variety of new music and sports content from artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Drake and Bruno Mars.
Apple is also offering its own Beats music app for Android phones, with Beats Music Unlimited, which allows users to listen and record music, and Beats Music Pass, which offers a limited number of free songs and a one-year subscription to Beats Music.
Apple’s Beats Music and Beats Pass apps will be free for existing Apple Watch users.
Nike has already begun selling Beats headphones, which are priced between $200 and $300, and it will be introducing new Beats accessories, including Beats Flex, a leather-like headphones that will be priced between about $150 and $200.
The company also is introducing Beats Pass, a digital music subscription service that will offer up to 100 songs for $5 per month.
The company has not released a release date for the new iPhones or iPads.
The latest iPhones and iPads have been launched earlier this month, and a new iPad is expected to launch later this year.
The announcement comes as Apple’s stock has been struggling.
The stock has lost more than 7% of its value over the past two months, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average is down more than 13% since April 2017.
The S&P 500 index has fallen more than 8%.
Apple CEO Tim Cook said on Monday that the company has made some strides in improving the design and user experience of its iPhone and iOS apps, which have been criticized for being too easy to use.
He said the company is working on making the app more like music, which has led to some new apps like Beats Music, Beats Pass and Beats Boost, which allow users in many countries to subscribe to the service for $20 per month for unlimited songs.
In an interview with Reuters, Johnson said that the new Apple Music app has not been the first step in the evolution of Apple’s music service.
The app, he said, will have more “creative” elements, like a selection of the music in each song or artist, and features new content like live radio.
